Introducing the babes behind Vancouver’s favourite luxury designer resale boutique, Jigme Love and Courtney Watkins. Founded in 2013, Mine & Yours is a one-of-a-kind luxury resale store where women can afford the brands they’ve always dreamed of purchasing.
The gorgeous downtown Vancouver shop features impeccably curated designer handbags, clothing, shoes and accessories, with new pieces added weekly. Jigme and Courtney are passionate business partners and have achieved success through their unwavering support for one another, leading the true-life example of babes supporting babes.
What does babes supporting babes mean to you?
Jigme: We rise by uplifting others! Babes supporting babes means women supporting other women and cheering them on in all their endeavours, and genuinely being happy for them when they succeed.
Courtney: Support and encouragement! It’s nice to see a shift happening. Instead of catty back talk, I’m seeing women reach out and help each other.
If you could choose your nickname, what would it be?
Jigme: Jiggy Smalls.
Courtney: Well, my Playa Name (from Burning Man) is Lucky.
What’s your spirit animal?
Jigme: A Lion. I’m always trying to channel a more courageous version of myself. And my name Jigme means “fearless” in Tibetan.
Courtney: I love this game! I think it’s easier to choose for other people than yourself….I tried a snow leopard because it’s my favourite animal but my friends weren’t having it.
What’s your proudest babe moment or achievement?
Jigme: Launching and growing my first business, Mine & Yours, and now inspiring and helping other entrepreneurs launch their dreams in my Dream Factory Mastermind.
Courtney: Taking over my family business. I came in not knowing much about the retail industry and within two years we’d tripled the sales. Since I was thrown into the deep end it made it really easy to ask questions and ask for help which was a big reason for the success. When you’re supposed to be an expert in the industry it can be hard to be vulnerable and ask for help.
What’s the most unexpected thing you have in your purse or wallet?
Courtney: Hot Sauce!
Jigme: A giant citrine crystal that my assistant Kelly gave me. It’s the “Merchant’s Stone” and is used to create abundance and to guide its owner to make wise decisions that result in success. I also wear a citrine ring and earrings.
Tell us about a time where you were faced with a situation that you could have been unkind, but chose to be a babe instead?
Jigme: In confrontations, I choose to always be compassionate and non-reactive, especially if the other person is triggered. In worst-case scenarios, it’s a matter of putting down a firm boundary around a behaviour or a person and maybe even walking away. You have a responsibility to be a babe to yourself first and foremost and not to condone certain toxic words, actions or patterns. When you block out the bad, you make room for the good.
Courtney: I often tend to play devil’s advocate. When I overhear anyone complaining about something, or especially someone even if I don’t know the other person, I will stick up for them and try to remind the person there is always two sides to a story.
What product would you seriously stockpile if you found out they weren’t selling anymore?
Jigme: CHANEL bags, Sriracha, iPhones, and Audiobooks to name a few…!
Courtney: Drybar Dry Shampoo..
If you had a yacht, what would be the name of it?
Jigme: Lil Yachty.
Courtney: Hot Stepper.
What was the best piece of advice you received when you were first starting your career?
Jigme: Hire an intern.
Courtney: If you don’t ask you will never know.
What is the best piece of advice you have received now that you are in your career?
Jigme: This level of thinking got you this far. A new level of thinking to get you further.
Courtney: Don’t minimize what you do, you will never maximize your influence. Women often tend to be modest and underplay what they’re doing. Be bold and confident when explaining who you are and what it is you do.
Red, white, or rose?
Courtney: Rose!
Jigme: Red!
When I dance I look like….
Jigme: Carlton Banks.
Courtney: I’m having a great time, because I am!
Tell us about a Babe who has supported you?
Jigme: The amazing businesswomen in my Mastermind, and all of the powerful female entrepreneurs, authors, leaders and businesswomen who inspire me every day.
Courtney: I make an effort to surround myself with other entrepreneurs. I have invested in communities like EO, Summit, and Afest and have met so many men and women that continue to support and inspire me.
Who do you channel when you’re about to do something that scares you?
Jigme: My business partner Courtney!
Courtney: Who I want to be. I don’t want to be someone who turns away from things or misses opportunities because they’re scared. So I remember that and push through.
What is your favorite destination to visit?
Jigme: Portofino, Italy. It’s so romantic. It’s where time stands still.
Courtney: Tulum and Mykonos.
What is your favorite meal to eat?
Jigme: Thai food all day long!
Courtney: Nachos.
What’s the most fulfilling part of your career?
Jigme: The tremendous amount of personal and spiritual growth that comes with growing as a female entrepreneur.
Courtney: I love seeing the excitement when someone buys or trades to get a luxury handbag they’ve been dying to buy for years and thought they couldn’t afford.
Where’s your favourite place to draw inspiration from?
Jigme: Not so much a place but a time. I love the quiet, early morning hours before the rest of the world wakes up. This is when I connect to Source and receive inspiration and guidance.
Courtney: Travel.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Jigme: Margaritas, red wine, and the Real Housewives!
Courtney: Fast food…. I have been called a fast food connoisseur.

Jigme: Overhauling my money mindset and my relationship with money.
If you’re going out for a cocktail you’d order…
Jigme: A spicy Margarita.
Courtney: I have a new drink — vodka, soda and a splash of ginger beer! It’s cheaper and fewer calories than a Moscow Mule.
If you had an unlimited budget for 2 hours of shopping where would you go?
Jigme: CHANEL!
Courtney: Can I say Mine & Yours?! If not Nordstrom Vancouver or Holt Renfrew.
What’s your favourite movie?
